How Nitti Beatz keeps things clubby, catchy and simple on every beat

Known for popularizing "snap music" with tracks like Young Joc's "It's Goin' Down," Georgia Boy Nitti Beatz keeps heads boobing with more of the same clubby, catchy and simple vibe on his latest offering "Flex (Ooh, Ooh)" with Rich Homie Quan.

Coming up in Georgia Chadron Moore other wise know as Nitti Beatz found musical inspiration in the church and surrounded around gospel, music a genre that his mother knows a lot about, the beats are able to flow like the holy ghost.

"If I wasn't a hip-hop producer I would produce gospel records. My mother was a program director at a gospel radio station in Decatur, Georgia, where I begin scratching records," explained the producer.

Musical influences just did not stop with his mom, Nitti's father played the bass guitar at local churches in south Georgia, which shows the producer's knack for producing "snap music" and the multiple instruments he is able to play.

"Other than the drums I play five instruments including the keyboards, lead and bass guitar all learned in church," Nitti enlightened.

In 2001 the church boy knew he was on his way to making a name for himself in hip-hop when he got his chance on a record with 8 Ball of the Memphis legendary group 8 Ball and MJG.

"I got my first national break when I produced Stop Playin' Games for 8 Ball's sophomore album. I produced seven songs on "Almost Famous," says Nitti.

"Stop Playin' Games" featured Diddy and ignited a working relationship with the hip-hop mogul that gave birth to the singles Dem Boyz by Boyz n da Hood and the BET Hip-Hop Award winning and Grammy nominated "It's Goin' Down." After that Jermaine Dupri came calling with production deal followed by deals with Warner Brothers Records who were all looking for the church boys next hit.

"I make beats how I feel, so I start out with a clear level head, drums and then the melody," describes Nitti about his hit making process.

The same award winning process rang true on Nitti's latest offering with Rich Homie Quan's raising hit "Flex(Ooh, Ooh)" and with his upcoming artist ATL McEchie, Ro Boonie and Aubrey Michael where his sound will continue to bump through hip-hop fans speakers globally.
