Jacob Latimore Announces New Album "Connection" Tour

R&B artist JACOB LATIMORE has announced a string of live shows that will kick off January 19th in Milwaukee (see itinerary below).

Latimore is touring in support of his debut album, CONNECTION, and lead single “The Real,” the latter featuring IshDARR and production by Ayo & Keyz and Mantra. Complex recently premiered the song’s companion video, which can be viewed HERE.

CONNECTION, released through Jacobs Ink/Empire, is available for purchase on iTunes by clicking HERE.

Featuring production from the likes of Chris Henderson (Jamie Foxx), Mel & Mus (Chris Brown/Justin Bieber/Rihanna/Nicki Minaj), Big Fruit (Lil Wayne/Yo Gotti/K Camp/Plies), SK (Trey Songz) and Ayo The Producer (Chris Brown/Rick Ross/Bryson Tiller), to name but a few, CONNECTION sees the Atlanta-based Latimore delivering on the promise shown with previous hits “Remember Me” and “Climb,” which have amassed close to 7 million combined streams (and both of which are featured on CONNECTION). The upcoming tour will see Latimore performing select songs from the album, including “Mutual,” which recently premiered on Billboard.

As if his musical talents weren’t impressive enough, Latimore has also emerged as one of the most promising acting talents of his generation. This holiday season, he’ll be seen alongside Will Smith, Michael Pena, Edward Norton, Helen Mirren and Keira Knightley in the Warner Bros. film "Collateral Beauty," directed by Oscar-winner David Frankel. Latimore recently completed production on a yet-to be named crime drama with Oscar-winning director Kathryn Bigelow and her "Zero Dark Thirty" and "The Hurt Locker" screenwriter Mark Boal. The film chronicles a police raid in Detroit in 1967 which resulted in one of the largest citizen uprisings in the United States' history. Also coming up is the film "Krystal," with Latimore joining William H. Macy, Felicity Huffman, Kathy Bates and Rosario Dawson in a dramatic comedy marking the directorial debut of actor William H. Macy.

A Milwaukee native, Latimore was featured in two of 2014’s biggest box office hits, co-starring as Ramon in Universal Pictures’ "Ride Along" starring Ice Cube, Kevin Hart and John Leguizamo, and in 20th Century Fox’s sci-fi thriller "The Maze Runner." In 2013, he starred as Langston in Fox Searchlight’s "Black Nativity," working with alongside Forest Whitaker, Angela Bassett, Tyrese Gibson, Jennifer Hudson, Mary J. Blige and Nas. He made his feature film debut in a lead role in Magnet Releasing’s 2010 post-apocalyptic thriller "Vanishing on 7th Street," starring Hayden Christensen and John Leguizamo.
